If you are unable to vote in person, you can apply to vote by proxy (someone else voting on your behalf). You can apply to vote by proxy for a particular election, for a set period of time or for all future elections.
You need to get the right application form in order to vote by proxy. Look at the different application forms below and download the one that applies to you.
For electors registered in Argyll & Bute Council area please choose one of the following forms and return to Electoral Registration Office, Kilbrannan House, Bolgam Street, CAMPBELTOWN, PA28 6HZ.
Application to vote by emergency proxy
Application to vote by proxy due to attendance at an educational course
Application to vote by proxy due to employment
Application to vote by proxy due to physical incapacity
Application to vote by proxy for a particular election
Application to vote by proxy for British citizen living overseas
Application to vote by proxy for members of Her Majesty's Armed Forces
